This is a new LUNP series where we review and suggest books and perhaps bash some here and there that Klaus Schwab decides to puke on the world.
This series is named after a book written by Osho, also known as, Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, called “Books I have Loved”. Thank you Osho for the light and wisdom you brought to the world.

For those who only know of Osho’s notoriety in the dramatic, it is important to note that Osho brought a revolution to India that has helped to alleviate the religious dogma that kept, and keeps, a large population of India and thus the world in a class called the untouchables, or Panchama, the fifth Varna. The first four Varnas emerged from God, but the fifth did not. These people are also called the Dalita today. Osho pulled India out of conformity and into a deeper connection to their spiritual roots. Instead of rituals of memorization, he taught a practice of developing deep and tangible and visceral connection with experiential life through meditation and vulnerable but bold exploration of the offerings of life.
While many know Osho as a sexual recolutionary, and he was in a way, as a red tantric yogi, he was also so much more. A teacher for all. The Zorba the Buddha. The intellectual razor. The comic. And the true expression of bodhisattva, bringing light to the world and uplifting those he touched, while being untainted by the world. He was a glutton without gluttony, infinitely deep in his superficiality, and contradictory to every negligence that confronted him.
Today, Osho is honored in Rishikesh, the birthplace of the Saddhu, in India for an entire month. He is held in prominence in the hearts of hundreds of millions, perhaps over a billion living human beings.
His book, “Books I have Loved,” gives a short glimpse into his thoughts on many books that he read during his life. I have read several of those books upon reading Osho’s recommendation.
