Breaking Away: On Secession and Small States
“(In a large centralized state) there is no escape, at all, anywhere”
-Ryan McMahon
Could Secession be the Answer to Fix America
The negative aspects of large states are innumerable and obvious to any clear thinking man. The benefits of no state are equally as numerous and apparent.
Let’s consider some basic principles that I would contend all sane and reasonable men could agree upon.
We all want the ability to have economic success. We all want the freedom to move our bodies from place to place unimpeded. We all want to maximize the security of our households and environs for ourselves, our families, and our communities. We all want the option to explore our interests and desires beyond simple survival needs. We all want to be free to express ourselves without censorship of our words. We all want to be free from surveillance without our consent. We all want to maximize ease of access to abundance in our lives. We all want to be masters of our own lives.
Now let’s apply these simple agreements to the conditions we are currently in.
Under the corporate United States regime, where plutocrats rule a central government, often from an even greater centralized body, whether that be the WEF, the Bilderbergers, the CFR, the Trilateral Commission, or the UN, the ability to have economic success is obviously and apparently limited by design. These limits are imposed through taxation and regulation of small independent businesses, and monopolization and subsidization of multinational plutocratic run corporations that uphold the status quo of global economic control. Small businesses were explicitly attacked during the Coronavirus Scamdemic, where the monopolist parasites enforced closures of businesses that did not follow lockdown, masking, or distancing demands. Businesses that don’t abide by the disproportionate regulations placed upon them are faced with economic and physical attack by the IRS, which is itself an unlawful entity.
Entrepreneurialism is reduced to a dream or an afterthought to the masses of drones that serve the globalist agenda in a go along to get along attitude. Where we once had to master a skill to earn an income, often by dedicated ourselves to an education from a master craftsman, we now are easily disregarded in wage slavery roles, in which the dumbed down monotonous tasks of clicking a button on a register for minimum wage, and working two jobs to get by has become the increasingly normal norm. College serves to give certification of skills that are most often entrapping people into narrow positions of limited scope and less fulfillment.
We are confronted with an army of road pirates (police) that reduce our ability and right to travel unimpeded to a privilege granted by their false authority and their disposition on that particular day. Does that cop who hides on the side of the road with a speed gun feel like harassing you today because you travelled 5 miles over the “speed limit?” Does he care that you are working 80 hour weeks to support a family? Does he give a shit about your right to travel unmolested? Nope.
The current government wants to implement travel restrictions under the banner of medical martial law. They are contemplating the enforcement of travel bans to the degree that a man would not be able to leave his state, or even his home, if they were not vaccinated or if they did not bow down to the globalist agenda in various other ways.
Our centralized government has created false laws, enforced by their private army, the police, regarding the limiting of the peoples access to firearms. Our right to bear arms is not given to us by a document, but is granted by God and nature as the means to defend oneself, ones family and property, and ones community. The right to bear arms is the notice given to our government that should they ever attempt to limit our ability to defend ourselves that we would abolish that government by any means necessary. A notice that was born of milennia of experience. Every government that robs the people of this final line of defense has done great harm to the people they were instituted to serve.
Looking at this point in particular, that we had more gun deaths in 1974 than we did in 2020, we can see that all of the firearm restricting laws have not had a correlating effect on the amount of firearm related deaths. A full list of federal firearms laws include the National Firearms Act of 1934, the Federal Firearms Act of 1938, the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968, the Gun Control Act of 1968, the Firearm Owners Protection Act of 1986, the Undetectable Firearms Act of 1988, the Gun-Free School Zones Act of 1990, the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act of 1993, the Federal Assault Weapons Ban of (1994-2004), the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act of 2004, and the Protection of Lawful Commerce in Arms Act of 2005.
NFA (1934) made firearms manufacture and transfer taxable and forced registration of Title II weapons.
FFA (1938) forced manufacturers, importers, and firearms sellers to become licensed (Federal Firearms License or FFL) and prohibited the transfer of firearms to certain groups of people.
Omnibus… (1968) prohibited interstate transfer of handguns and made 21 the required age to purchase a handgun.
GCA (1968) regulated interstate commerce in firearms by prohibiting private interstate firearms transfers.
FOPA (1986) partially repealed GCA of 1968 and prohibited the sale of automatic firearms to civilians when they were manufactured after the laws passage, as well as required ATF approval of firearms transfers of automatic firearms.
UFA (1988) criminalized the manufacture, import, sale, shipment, delivery, possession, transfer, or receipt of firearms with less than 3.7 ounces of metal content.
GFSZA (1990) prohibited individuals from possessing a firearm in a school zone.
Brady… (1993) required background checks on the purchasers of firearms.
FAWB (1994-2004) banned semi-autos that looked like assault weapons and large capacity feeding devices. Expired in 2004.
LEOSA (2004) granted former and current law enforcement officers the right to carry a concealed firearm anywhere in the USA, regardless of state or local laws.
Protection… (2005) prevented firearms manufacturers and dealers from being held liable for the actions of the purchasers of their products.

“The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to allow the subject races to possess arms. History shows that all conquerors who have allowed their subject races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by so doing.”
― Adolf Hitler
There are three steps concerning firearms historically appreciable to genocide committed by government. The first is firearms registration. The second is disarmament through law and police power. The third is the corralling or otherwise distinguishing target unarmed populations.
In 1911, the Turkish government banned ownership or manufacture of firearms without their approval. From 1915 to 1917, the Turkish government massacred 1,150,000 disarmed Armenians. In 1918, the Bolsheviks in the Soviet Union passed a firearms and ammunition registration law. Within three months, the government revoked registration certificates and banned ownership of firearms. By 1929, the population was totally disarmed. Over 50,000,000, a modest estimate, people died as a result of being unable to defend themselves from their government. All firearms were confiscated in Germany in 1919. In 1928, a permitting system was created allowing firearms manufacture, sale purchase and ownership. This created lists in the government of all people owning firearms in Germany. These lists made it exceedingly simple for the Nazi government to disarm the populations and individuals they discriminated against, such as the Jews. In 1938, the government banned all private ownership of firearms. Exempted from this ban, were police, military, SA, and SS. Over 15,000,000 people were slaughtered due directly to their inability to defend themselves after accepting and complying with disarmament. In 1957, the Chinese government banned manufacture, sale, purchase, and ownership of firearms. As many as 80,000,000 people were butchered after their firearms were stolen by their government. In 1970, the Ugandan government passed a law requiring government licensure to purchase or possess firearms. Government officials in each district were authorized to deny or cancel licenses without reason. Starting in 1971, the Ugandan military and secret police, amounting to 28,000 people, killed 300,000 disarmed Ugandans, and maintained their oppression on 13 million others. In 1938, in Cambodia, the Royal order forced gun control on the population. That law remained in effect even after the Cambodian independence. After 1970, the Khmer Rouge took power, and began massacring the disarmed population. The total killed was around 2,500,000 people.

The ability to maximize the security of our households and environs for ourselves, our families, and our communities is most aptly represented by the ability to determine the law. The more centralized and distant a government from the local populace, the greater the abuse of those people. Every time. When the people determine the law of the land, and maintain that control, those who serve the people in the form of a government are held accountable for any deviations from the peoples will. The centralized governments of today, whether federal, state, county, or city, are tyrannies. They do not represent the will of the people, but rather use their false authority to determine the “laws” to be imposed upon the people.
In a free market, scarcity is quickly corrected for by the natural market corrections made by competing companies. In the effort to explore our interests, we need to have the means to apply ourselves to our greatest passions. Today, we see that choice has been expanded in regards to the minutia of life. Which gum you will purchase that passed the regulation of the FDA, which show you will watch on Netflix or Disney, and what job you will take from the selection of available standardized jobs. But real choice, like what political structure you want to live within, what kind of materials you want to use to build your home, and whether or not you care to support the government with your income, are left in hands of the controllers. We do not live in a capitalism. We live under the undesirable umbrella of captive capitalism, otherwise known as kleptocracy or plutocracy, as it extends into control of government.
http://metanoia-films.org/plutocracy/
In our current centralized governance, the ability to speak freely is reduced to whispers amongst friends. Say something that is not part of the divide and conquer control apparatus, and be prepared to be excluded from society, relegated to the far flung regions of the internet. Say something threatening to government and the central authority or that can be made to appear like a threat to the same, and you might be followed, suicided, have false stories spread about you, sent to prison, or have your reputation smeared in a thousand different ways. Free speech is the ability to say exactly what you think without violence brought upon you. With almost all widespread communication happening through social media today, it is extraordinarily important to realize who is controlling these domains. Who determines what is right or wrong to say? Today, it is plutocrats, globalists, and politicians, all a result of centralized governance.
The greater authority a central power entertains, the greater they will extend their tentacles into every aspect of the lives of the people. We see this today, in the surveillance of the people, exposed by Edward Snowden and others, in the data collection by Smart Meters and other Smart devices, and in the increase in cameras on the roadways, satellites spying on the whole world, and in the invasiveness of almost all applications for jobs, now requiring background checks to run a register at a local gas station. Knowing everything about the populace isn’t a new concept in the realm of centralized government, as best exemplified by Stalin’s filecard system, in which he had a filecard on every Russian citizen, such that he knew where they lived, their profession, their habits, their families, and as much other information as possible.
One of the aspects of police control in the Soviet Union that the recent opening-up of the archives has shed new light on is the restrictive system of internal passports and urban residence permits that was introduced in 1932. The article examines the origins of this system and traces its subsequent development during the 1930s, up until a major overhaul of the regulations in force in September 1940. The passport system served as an instrument for monitoring, counting and registering population flows in and out of urban and selected non-urban areas, and for keeping the strategically more important of these areas free of persons that were held to be “socially undesirable”. Its initial implementation involved the “social cleansing” of the larger towns and the border-zone and large-scale expulsions from these areas. In subsequent years it served as a lever of control that was put in place whenever it was found expedient to rid one area or another of potential “enemies” or troublemakers, and to prevent people that could become so from settling there. The categories of people that were subject to settlement restrictions changed over time, depending on the regime’s security concerns. The number of areas where settlement restrictions were in force increased significantly in the course of the 1930s. Whilst effective in achieving its repressive aims, the passport system faced much larger difficulties in implementing the more systematic forms of control over population movements that had been envisaged at the outset. This made it the typical Stalinist instrument of control -- crude and selective, but decisive.
Most importantly and most simply put, we all want to be masters of our own lives. Today, the general population is far from knowing what this feels like. From birth, they are registered, owned and manipulated to do as they are told. The innumerable day to day minutaie make people believe they are masters, but in reality they are relegated to choice within the parameters allowed by the controllers, the central government.

Now let’s consider the simple agreements to the conditions of self-determined small states. This could be city-states, states of various sizes, but no larger than a few million, and autonomous regions that do not have direct authority of government.
In a small state, the ability for dictatorships, plutocracies and monopolies to form is much reduced. A small state must operate geographically close to its population. It must face its population in a more regular way, that brings politics much closer to home for the population. Decisions made in governments of these sizes are reflective of the smaller population, which is likely to be more directly involved in decisions. Small states are bound to be surrounded by other states, which forces them to compete for the favor of the people, who may choose to leave a state that has abused its people for a more favorable condition in neighboring states. Just like in a free market, the goodwill of the people is the most profitable resource when there is an abundance of choice.
A small state limits the power of any dictator. They now cannot abuse a vast population, but rather would be confronted with limited expansion, being surrounded by states that would likely oppose any invasion. If the continental USA were split into thousands of independent states, the authority of any individual state would be extraordinarily limited in its ability to influence or affect the rest of the states. The physical limit of human resources at the disposal of any of the individual states would be the greatest inhibitor to tyrannical ambitions. The will of the people would dominate the individual states out of the sheer number of choices and options of where to live and what form of government, if any, to form.
For those who claim that foreign nations like Russia, China and Iran would invade and conquer the newly dispersed states of the north American continent, you are forgetting the single most important fact that has defended this place for centuries… We have more guns than people, in more hands than anywhere else in the world.
“Firearms stand next to the constitution itself. They are the American people’s liberty teeth and keystone under independence. To ensure peace, security, and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable. The very atmosphere of firearms everywhere restrains evil interference – they deserve a place of honor with all that is good.”
― George Washington
"I ask, sir, what is the militia?
It is the whole people, except for a few public officials."
- George Mason
These thousands of states can form military alliances that would leave the independent states to have autonomous authority over their own defensive capabilities. The question is, is it easier to conquer 10,000 independent states operating independent of one another but under a single motive, that of defending the region, or a single entity that must manage 10,000 different areas under one central hub? I contend that it would be far more difficult to conquer an alliance of 10,000 autonomous bodies of well armed people, than it would be to conquer one giant. It would be nearly impossible in fact.
Let’s consider the idea of local internal protection. The concept of a sheriff is perfect in my estimation. A sheriff is an elected protector. This community trusted individual is responsible for guarding and protecting against threats foreign and domestic. They are the frontline defense of any community. When the sheriff is not serving his purpose, the people, as long as they retain their iron, will easily remove this individual from this trusted position. Only if they leave behind their civic responsibility in their local governments will they potentially empower a tyrant. If they remain involved and responsible for the condition of their community, they will know when the signs appear that a sheriff might be wrong for the role. In an anarchist society, a sheriff is unnecessary. The people themselves all become the guardians of the community and of themselves.
The simple ability to choose between thousands of states makes the invidual states have to compete for the people. A state with no income tax would be great advantage to a neighboring state that had any income tax whatsoever. In this fashion, only the states that maintained the greatest liberty for the people would be prospering. This is the exact opposite of what is occurring today. The global governance model that we are moving into is the expression of the end game of those who crave total and utter control over all of the world. They are very close.

What can we do then, but to secede?
I am not speaking of states like Texas seceding from the union. I am talking about villages, towns, cities, counties, and regions seceding from this absolutely corrupted and inherently disgraceful central government. I am talking about a movement that starts with you, the reader, influencing your friends, family, and community to find the courage and knowledge required for breaking off from the leviathan.
This image gets me excited. Imagine these counties were actually sovereign states. No federal government at all. No Texas, California, Illinois, New York or Colorado. Hyper local government, or simply autonomous zones with no government.
Let’s imagine a world where large cities are city-states and cannot dominate those who live outside of their boundaries. Denver, NYC, LA, Portland, Austin, and of course D.C. If these city-states had to fend for themselves, they would be forced to negotiate with other states that actually produced things, like food. They would not be able to rape and pillage the small farmers of rural America. But hey, there is no longer an America. There is the Autonomous Zone of the Western Slope of the Rockies. There is the Confederacy of Southern States. There is the U.S.S.A (California Coast). There is Cascadia, Greater Idaho, Libertarian New Hampshire, and the Democratic Socialism of Denver.
Let’s take a stroll down the life of the average man 20 years post-secession and hyper localization of authority.
Joe Shmoe is a welder. He lives 1 hour outside of the D.S. of Denver in the Town of Nederland in the Indian Peaks Free State. He is not a citizen of Indian Peaks, but rather lives there as it is a Free State, where folks can live, come and go, or ignore all they want. He lives in a cabin he built for himself and his family without need for loans from a central bank, or debt to anyone. He saved up the money that the Socialists of Denver pay in forced income taxes, and bought the materials and the labor of some helping hands with those savings after only 8 years. Joe’s 6 children are homeschooled by his wife, Jill Shmoe, with the assistance of tutors and a governess. The older children learn to weld from their father, and those who have other interests go into apprentiship with other master craftsman, or skilled people in whatever field they are interested in.
Jill spends most of her time tending the home, which includes managing their goats, chickens, and other animals, the 2 acres of farmed land and all the crops they've planted and the farm workers, who also live on the farm, managing the families finances, and generally ensuring that everyone is fed, where they need to be, and caretaking the wellbeing of the family.
Joe pays no taxes whatsoever, as he lives in a place where there are none to pay taxes to. He is part of a community fund with others who live in the Free State, in which they all pool resources to help whenever someone in the community is in need. He is also a volunteer firefighter, a member of the on-call peace force, which consists of volunteers who come to the aid of anyone who calls with an emergency, and he is a manufacturer of 3D-printed firearms for the community. He makes the highest quality 3D Printed 1911, so he is very popular.
Whenever Joe needs to travel into a tyrannical state like the D.S. of Denver, he is forced to carry a Visa and must get photographed, fingerprinted, and wear a RFID badge, so he can be tracked while in the city-state. Obviously, Joe rarely goes to Denver. Not much they can offer him that he can’t get elsewhere anyway. Every year, those socialists get hungrier and scarcer, and every year they come closer to giving up. Selling food at a premium to the socialists has earned more for Joe’s farm than anything else. Soon it’ll be time to invest elsewhere, as Denver is gonna fall apart anytime.
Joe uses his abundance to serve his family and his community voluntarily. He defends his community voluntarily. He is part of the Free State voluntarily. He can leave anytime and go anywhere else he is called to go amidst the thousands of states that have formed since the Declaration of Secession and independence was signed by 80% of counties and municipalities in the old American Empire. Joe is Free.
Secession can be done in a peaceful transition, and can avoid the visions and doomsday prophecies that seem to entrance the population today, as reflected in our media and social media today. Imagine that hundreds of different regions and municipalities all seceded simultaneously. In the realm of possibility, it is assured. In the realm of probability, it is skewed way into the improbable, until you and me work to create the right conditions on local levels.
Here is a potential way of going forward. Get governmental bodies to sign a declaration of secession, and if they refuse, run for local political positions under the banner of secession. Run for county sheriffs to take back our control of the highest form of law enforcement in the current government. If the government refuses and political positions are unable to be won, get as many people to declare secession from the United States as a body, on the local level, that effectively removes authority from the local government and all governments. Form new parallel governmental models that local people revert to in their affairs, completely disregarding the current system and voluntarily working for the benefit and maintenance of the new government.
What does the end result look like? Freedom my friends. Real freedom. And it starts with you and me.
